A red cloak heads down the road while a teal one turns back toward the fire. Their wisps follow in different colours. The settlement belongs to both of you, but each wanderer has their own little reserve of soul fragments to carry.
A place beside you
Local co-op brings a second wanderer into the same world on one machine. Pick a friend or one of the AI companions, then choose a vertical or horizontal split. Each view follows its own player, so you can stay together by the fire or head down opposite stretches of the road. Each journey gives the two pets distinct colours, carried into their portraits and the sparks they send toward an enemy. Those colours stay with you when you save and continue.
Your fragments, your companion
A dropped fragment goes to the first wanderer who reaches it with room to spare. The same goes for fragments waiting at the fireplace. A full pocket leaves the next fragment for your companion.
A little help when trouble comes
Each pet has its own stance, shown in the existing label beside its portrait. Defensive waits for your command; Aggressive sends the pet after nearby enemies. Every strike spends one of its owner’s fragments, so a helping hand still comes at a cost. On a controller, A sends your pet at the closest enemy.
Take a look at both views in the video, with the sounds of the road and the wisps alongside you.
